District Nurses
Gill Grant is the team leader of the District Nurses. They work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team providing nursing care to housebound patients who may require long or short term intervention. Each team member continues to develop themselves professionally. As a result they are able to offer expertise in palliative care, elderly care, continence care, nutrition, wound care and health promotion. They are specially trained to provide skilled nursing care to patients of all age groups and advice to their home carers. Health Visitor
Jenny Economides is our health visitor and specialises in advice on all aspects of child development and behaviour by means of regular child health clinics, screening sessions and home visits. Her contact number is 01234 310849.
Community Midwife
Glinys Annan, Bedford Hospital Community Midwife holds antenatal clinics every Thursday here at the surgery.
